Who is Team UB?
Team UB is a group of diverse students interested in becoming involved in marketing, programming, and/or assessment of events that promote both pride and spirit in the UB community.
What is Team UB?
Our Mission Statement: Team UB aims to involve a large number of student volunteers in building pride, community and awareness at UB through helping to plan, market, carry out and assess events that are aimed at increasing UB pride and spirit. We want to make everyone feel connected to UB and apart of the UB community.
What are our expectations of the students involved in Team UB?
Because Team UB is designed to include a large number of students, the meetings will be once month .We want students to get involved to the degree that best fits into their schedules. Member requirements include involvement with one program, one social and one community outreach a semester. There will be many opportunities for students to attend meetings and get involved with multiple events each month including socials and community outreaches. All events and meetings are open to anyone who wishes to participate and be involved in Team UB.
What are the benefits of Team UB?
Encourage "student involvement" to enhance connectiveness to the campus by:
- providing a venue for socialization and friendship development
- providing leadership and skills training to participating students
- providing a rewards system for participation
- Gaining a sense of pride and spirit
- providing valuable experience in marketing, programming, and assessment for students’ resumes
