UB Campus Dining & Shops Awards Finalist
UB Campus Dining and Shops (CDS) has been named a finalist in two categories, Visionary and One CBORD, in the CBORD Excellence Awards which will be announced at CBORD's 35th annual User Group Conference (UGC), Oct. 12-15, 2014 in Huntington Beach, CA.
CBORD is the leading provider for campus ID card systems for college and universities, as well as providing solutions for Food Service, Online and Kiosk Ordering, E-Commerce and Student Discounts. CDS uses several CBORD products including CS Gold, Foodservice Suite, Mobile ID, NetNutrition, Webfood and Student Advantage.
The Visionary award exemplifies innovative or creative uses of CBORD solutions. This innovation may be demonstrated either through the use of existing CBORD products in unique ways, or by the integration of CBORD software with other marketplace solutions. Visionaries illustrate what it means to be pioneers in systems integration and developing new business applications that create valuable services for their customers.
The One CBORD award will go to an organization that has realized benefits from integrating multiple CBORD systems. The recipient will have exemplified integrated planning and foresight in tying multiple CBORD systems together across the organization to deliver a comprehensive solution to their customers.
"We are honored to be nominated and a finalist in these two categories," says Keith Curtachio, director of Information Technology for CDS. "Our goal is to consistently offer products and services to our customers that provide the greatest convenience and satisfaction."
A complete list of finalists can be found on the CBORD's 35th annual User Group Conference website.
It's On Us Campaign
It's On Us is a cultural movement aimed at fundamentally shifting the way we think about sexual assault. The solution begins with us. It's a declaration that sexual assault is not only a crime committed by a perpetrator against a victim, but a societal problem in which all of us have a role to play. We are reframing sexual assault in a way that inspires everyone to see it as their responsibility to do something, big or small, to prevent it. We are asking everyone to create an environment, be it a dorm room, a party, a club or a sports team, or the greater college campus, where sexual assault is unacceptable and survivors are supported.
