UB Student Affairs Offers Mentoring for Students Exploring Higher Education Careers
Undergraduate students who are interested in exploring the field of higher education administration can now get first-hand knowledge by working with mentors. The Student Affairs Mentoring Program is open to undergraduate UB students considering graduate study in Higher Education Administration with a Student Affairs concentration.
To be accepted into the program, students must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at the time of application, and maintain 2.5 throughout participation in the program.
Accepted students will work closely with a Student Affairs professional to learn about functional areas within the Student Affairs discipline. The mentorship is a valuable opportunity for students to build relationships with successful practitioners, to network and gain professional skills, to get involved with UB Student Affairs initiatives, and to help plan campus programs.
Students can apply online.
