Friday, 4/27/12 2012 Panasci Technology Entrepreneurship Competition External Site Link Icon

The Henry A. Panasci Jr. Technology Entrepreneurship Competition (Panasci TEC) was created to facilitate and promote the commercialization of UB-generated technologies. It is designed to bring graduate-level students from science and technology disciplines together with MBA students to maximize their business and scientific potential to create viable businesses in Western New York. The university primarily seeks participants whose innovative ideas are in the technology, life sciences and engineering industries. Due to the unique nature of these industries, we anticipate that the participants' concepts will be at the earliest stages of development, yet embrace sound technologies and innovations.

On April 27, 2012, five teams will compete for $45,000 in prizes. The winning team receives $10,000 in seed funding as well as in-kind business services.
