Start From The Beginning

Making career decisions is one of the most challenging tasks you will face in college and throughout your life. Most students spend more time planning their spring break vacation than they do planning their career choice! Like most things, the more time and effort you put into your career development the more likely you are to reach a satisfying decision. You are worth the time and effort that good decision-making requires!

Career development is a process that typically involves the following stages:

  Learn About Yourself

  Narrow Your Choices

Making choices about your future is a continual process that you will revisit many times during your life. Regardless of where you are in your college career or in life, you may enter the process at whatever point is most relevant to you. You may find yourself exploring two stages at once, or revisiting a stage that you thought you had thoroughly investigated. And while career decisions can only be made by you, be assured that there are many tools you can use to assist you in the process! Click on each of the four stages to find out more!
