Recognizes scholastic achievement in pre-professional studies including medicine, dentistry, podiatry, optometry, and veterinary medicine. Students must be at least a second semester sophomore with a 3.0 overall and science GPA. Approximately 18 students are inducted annually.

Promotes academic excellence among majors in the field of sociology. Undergraduates must have completed at least 12 credits in sociology, achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all sociology courses taken and receive the recommendation of their academic advisor. Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders. It is the oldest and largest co-ed professional business fraternity. What started at New York University in 1904 with ten men has now grown into an organization with over 300 active chapters and over 90 alumni chapters. Alpha Kappa Psi at the University at Buffalo is a recognized student organization within the School of Management. The Beta Iota chapter was founded in 1931 and resurrected in Spring 2005 with 72 brothers who have taken it upon themselves to carry the fraternity's legacy.

Recognizes outstanding academic performance by graduating students in the fields of business and management. Seniors must be in top ten percent of their class. Dedicated to maintaining and promoting civil engineering as a profession and was organized to promote the development of individuals studying civil engineering. Those eligible must have completed one-half of all required course work for a baccalaureate degree and be in the upper third of their class. Phi Delta Chi is an organization that has been developed in order to advance the science of Pharmacy and its interests, and to promote fraternal spirit among its members. The purpose of the society is the encouragement, recognition and promotion of leadership in pharmacy. Members are selected by peer recognition. Eligibility for membership includes high moral and ethical character, a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and successful completion of first professional year.

Phi Lambda Upsilon (Chemistry)
Promotes high scholarship and original investigation in all branches of pure and applied chemistry. Undergraduate students with senior standing, who have completed at least 30 credits of chemistry or applied chemistry and rank in the top 20% of the class or have a minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0.
