Health Education and Human Services/SBI External Site Link Icon has the following student owned and operated programs. Please contact 829-2584 for more information on any of the following programs.

Anti-Rape Task Force:

This program provides prevention: walk and van services for students to get from campus to their destination safely; awareness: events such as Take Back the Night and Violence Awareness Week; and education: workshops and training related to sexual violence.

AIDS Coalition:

This program provides awareness about the issue of HIV/AIDS and how it impacts the campus community through workshops such as Eroticizing Safer Sex and Talk Dirty To Me, and events such as World AIDS Day, Halloween Condom Campaign and the Spring AIDS memorial. The AIDS Coalition also provides free HIV testing.

Sexuality Education Center

This program provides individual peer education regarding birth control information, pregnancy testing, pregnancy alternatives, sexually transmitted infections (STI’s), and sexual identity issues. This program also provides workshops to campus such as STI Jeopardy and hosts events such as the Breast Cancer Brunch and the Spring Break Event.

Sub Board Players

The SBI Players is an improvisational Acting troupe, which provides an innovative approach to educational programming both on and off campus. The Players are all students themselves, trained as peer educators who are interested in providing accurate information. They present to the University's classes, dorms and groups as well as to other organizations and schools in the community. The issues that are presented include healthy relationships, sexuality issues, rape and sexual assault, alcohol, and diversity issues.
