University Apartments do not close during recesses. Students may stay in their apartments. Residence hall students must leave during university recesses.

| February 11 - March 5, 2008 | Residence Hall Application collection period for current students |
| March 25, 2008 | Residence Hall Room Reservation Process begins |
| May 1, 2008 | Priority deadline for incoming students to apply for Fall 2008 Residence Hall housing. We strongly encourage you to apply as soon as possible. |

| Summer School Housing Application Due (for Res. Hall housing) | |
| May 12, 2008 | Summer School Housing in Residence Halls begins |
| June 1, 2008 | We have extended the deadline for residence hall applications for new students to June 1, 2008. Printed materials in the housing packet you received with your offer of admission indicate a May 1 deadline. The university will be able to accommodate students interested in living in the residence halls provided they submit their online application, tuition deposit and residence hall deposit of $200 by June 1. | August 12, 2008 | Lease start date for Hadley Village and Flickinger Court |
| August 13, 2008 | Lease start date for South Lake and Creekside Villages |
| August 16, 2008 | Lease start date for Flint Village Summer School Housing students move to Fall Assignments |
| August 16-17, 2008 | Residence Hall International Student check in, 2 PM-8 PM |
| August 20, 2008 | Residence Hall Transfer Student check in (for those attending August 21 Orientation), 9 AM-5 PM |
| August 21, 2008 | Residence Hall Freshman check in, 9 AM-8 PM |
| August 22, 2008 | Residence Hall Freshman check in Continues, 9 AM-3 PM |
| August 23, 2008 | Residence Hall Returning Student check in, 9 AM -8 PM |
