University Residence Halls & Apartments (URH&A) is one of the many student-focused offerings of UB, a research-intensive University with a global reputation. Operating as part of UB's Division of Student Affairs, URH&A puts students first in every service, offering and program.

At UB, each residence hall and apartment is a community where personal growth and diversity are valued. Each floor is unique yet all of our residential professionals strive to offer community-building programs that promote students' social and cultural development. At UB, our halls and apartments are more than just places to live. They are places that foster growth.

UB has:

  • 7,200 students living on campus
  • 6 Residence Halls on South Campus
  • 10 Residence Halls on North Campus
  • 5 Apartment Complexes

UB's University Residence Halls & Apartments (URH&A) has:

  • 225 full-time residence hall and apartment professionals
  • 210 residence hall and apartment para-professionals
  • 5 operational committees and many ad-hoc committees
