ALANA Celebration of Achievement
Friday, May 11, 2012
Students are invited to attend the University at Buffalo's annual ALANA Celebration of Achievement. The ALANA Celebration of Achievement is a pre-commencement ceremony which has historically honored graduating African, Latino/a, Asian, and Native American students. In more recent years, it has expanded to include all UB students that understand, advocate and appreciate the guiding principles applied by and for People of Color in historical, political, educational, economic and social contexts.
In order to participate in this event, students must pre-register online. Student Life and the Center for Academic Development Services are honoring these students for one of their greatest accomplishments.
Attention Graduating Seniors: ALANA Registration is now open! Deadline for registration is April 27, 2012.
