Creating a Climate for Change: Educational Programs Overview
- The Diversity Workshops: Designed to address issues of diversity and social justice as well as develop specific skills sets.
- The Diversity Institute: Designed to offer the UB community an opportunity to engage in a guided discussion on topics including race, ethnicity, socioeconomic class, gender, sexual orientation and social justice issues.
- The Diversity Advocate Course (UBE 496): Designed to offer students the opportunity to serve as peer advocates and educators.
- Global Competency Certificate Series: Designed to offer students the opportunity to develop the skills set and competencies to prepare them for full participation in the global community.
- Faculty, Staff and Professional Training: Designed to assist in the creation of inclusive excellence across the curriculum and more inclusive environments across the campus and the larger community.
Registration and Additional Information:
- Students can directly register for the Diversity Institutes, Advocate Course and Global Competence Certificate Program.
- Workshops may also be tailored by request to meet the specific needs of your class, department or organization.
