Student Affairs Mentoring Programs
Undergraduate students who are interested in exploring the field of Higher Education, specifically Student Affairs, are offered the opportunity to participate in a mentoring program. Students who are accepted into the program will be paired with a mentor, a Student Affairs professional, who will work closely with him/her to learn about the profession as a career path.
There are several benefits to participating:
- On-campus mentorship; build a relationship with a professional in the field
- Learning about the various functional areas in Student Affairs
- Possible opportunities to attend a regional or national conference
- Becoming involved with Student Affairs offices on campus
- Networking and professional development
- Planning and implementing programs on campus
- And many more!
To qualify for this program, each applicant must:
- Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at the time of application (and required to maintain 2.5 throughout participation in the program)
- Have an interest in exploring the field of Student Affairs
