Leadership House Peer Mentor Program

Application materials for 2011-2012 will be available on/by February 2011.

Position Description

The Leadership House Peer Mentor program is designed to help future Leadership House students become acquainted with UB and help ease their transition into Leadership House by the sharing of experiences.

Qualifications

Leadership House Peer Mentors must have completed the Leadership House (LH) program and be in good academic and disciplinary standing. A LH Peer Mentor must be able and willing to dedicate time and energy to help out the students he/she is assigned.

Serving as a Leadership House peer mentor offers many benefits; including a greater awareness of campus resources, the ability to develop meaningful relationships with incoming students, serving as a role model, and enhancing your leadership skills.

Additional Information

Peer mentors will be required to attend a training orientation. Peer mentors will also be required to meet individually with the coordinator of the Leadership House program once during each semester.
