Social Issues Training & Education (SITE) Project

SITE Projects are unique service opportunities offered twice a semester that are designed to engage students through learning about social issues in the Buffalo community. In a large group, students will leave campus at 8:45 a.m. and travel to a specific Buffalo organization. Once there, students will take part in a 45 minute workshop/presentation to understand the organization's purpose, social issue they address, how they make change and how students can make change. Following the presentation, students will volunteer with a project for the organization until returning to campus by 2 p.m. Transportation and snacks are provided.

Space is limited so please register early and mark your calendar. If you have registered and realize you cannot attend, please email tarapett@buffalo.edu as soon as possible so your spot may be given to the next student on the waiting list.
