SLIDE – Dominican Republic - March 10-17, 2012

Students participating in the SLIDE program will be travelling to the Dominican Republic and working with Orphanage Outreach. Orphanage Outreach is a non-profit organization whose primary focus is on education – teaching English, literacy, and public health. Students will have the opportunity to speak to the leaders of the organization to learn about the commitment, work and leadership it takes to make a non-profit organization successful.

All students will be notified of their acceptance into the program by October 12.

The cost of the program can range from $1,400 - $1,800. Scholarships may be available and students will be assisted with all fund raising efforts.

Two information sessions will be offered:
