National/Global Volunteer Opportunities
The Center for Student Leadership & Community Engagement recognizes individuals and campus organizations may want to get involved and volunteer with organizations outside of the Buffalo area.
If you are interested in travelling abroad to volunteer with an organization, we strongly recommend you take your time researching the various options before committing to one. Typically, there are costs associated with traveling and each program will be a bit different and offer different experiences. Look for personal references and don’t be afraid to call the organization to speak with someone personally about the program and to get a reference you can call. This extra step can help assure you the program is what you are looking for and you feel comfortable committing to it.
