Open House Volunteers Wanted

Volunteer to work at Open House on Saturday, October 26, 2013 here on campus! There are many flexible 2-hour shifts between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on either campus. Mandatory attendance at one of the training sessions is required - either Monday, October 14 at 12 p.m. or Tuesday, October 15 at 2 p.m. Both trainings will be held in Capen 12. UB Breathe Free

Student groups and campus organizations can earn community service while having a positive impact on the campus environment! Opportunities include: cigarette-butt pick-up events, & educating UB community about the smoke-free policy.

SBI Health Education

SBI Health Education is looking for student volunteers to assist with the Safety Walk Stations on North and South Campuses in the libraries. Volunteers would give safety walks in pairs to students so they can get to their home or car safely. Walks are restricted to on-campus locations. Shifts are available 7:45 pm - 12 am, Sunday - Thursday. Club credit is available. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Aaron Maracle at 929-2584 or email sbi-healthed@buffalo.edu.

UB Athletics:

Volunteers are needed to assist the promotions team with the set up and execution of game day promotional activities during Football, Volleyball, Men's & Women's Basketball games. If you're interested, contact Jill Rexinger-Kuhn at rexinger@buffalo.edu or call 645-3991 to find out days and times.

American Red Cross Blood Drives:

The American Red Cross will be on campus at least twice a month for students to give blood and to volunteer to assist the Red Cross. Students interested in volunteering individually or with their student organization may stop by the CSLCE to select a blood drive they wish to sponsor through volunteering.
