All of the blood that we collect is provided to the WNY hospitals to help save lives of local patients. UNYTS is looking for student groups who are interested in sponsoring blood drives on campus and for the support from UB students and faculty to donate blood at our blood drives on campus throughout the year.
American Red Cross Blood Drives:
The American Red Cross will be on campus at least twice a month for students to give blood and to volunteer to assist the Red Cross. Students interested in volunteering individually or with their student organization may stop by the CSLCE to select a blood drive they wish to sponsor through volunteering.

Volunteers are needed to help plan the event and they are especially needed to help on the night of Relay for Life. If you are interested, please email Julie Smith at jmh@buffalo.edu. Relay For Life 2010 is scheduled for Saturday, April 3 - Sunday, April 4.
Recruiting New UB Believers
Recruitment of new UB Believers is an important part of the UB Believer campaign. Your help is critical as we continue to educate Albany on why investment in our region’s only research university is a surefire way to get help to turn around our WNY economy. In order to do that, we need volunteers to staff UB believer tables for two or three hours at major UB events to help recruit more UB Believers. Volunteers are notified of opportunities on a regular basis. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Corrine Koepf in the Office of Community Relations at 829-3525 or koepf@buffalo.edu.
