Parking and Transportation Services

Advertising Opportunities - Hop on Board

UB's campus shuttles and buses are a highly visible branding and marketing mechanism that can be used to embed key messages, build name recognition, and promote campus programs.

UB's Division of Student Affairs, Parking and Transportation Services, is pleased to offer use of campus transit vehicles for UB program promotion. Shuttles and buses are available for UB and unit branding, and internal service promotions.

The goal of the Campus Transit Advertising guideline is to communicate prices and process for promotion on and in campus buses and shuttles, and to maximize the cost-effectiveness of this highly visible medium.

Parking and Transportation Services coordinates the reservation, production and installation of bus and shuttle wraps, frame advertising and interior advertising on all campus transit vehicles.

Requests are subject to review and approval by Parking and Transportation Services, in keeping with the best interests of the university.

UB operates a fleet of 24 buses daily, providing inter-campus transportation for more than 2.9 million passengers a year. These buses provide an abundance of advertising and marketing space. They travel between campuses seven days a week and service the following locations: Ellicott Complex, Lee Loop (Student Union), Governors Residence Halls and Flint Loop on the North Campus; Goodyear Hall & Main Circle on the South Campus.

Parking & Transportation Services currently owns and operates shuttles (including paratransit service) servicing 228,000 passengers a year. These 25-passenger minibuses service the Red, Green, and Yellow Lines on the North Campus, and the Blue Line on the Main Street and Downtown Campuses. They, too, provide high exposure promotion and marketing avenues.
