Stress Less - Live More

Stress is the greatest roadblock to academic success, according to UB students. The mind, and how and what one thinks, has a powerful impact on one’s health and well-being. Learning about stress is an important first step in preventing and managing stress. Stress is when you feel you have more to do than you can handle.

Stress levels and one's ability to cope with stress can be affected both by external and internal factors. External factors are those things that can induce stress such as school work, relationships, your living environment and any other challenging situation you are confronted with on a daily basis. Internal factors, on the other hand, influence your ability to handle stress. These include your nutrition, overall health, fitness level, emotional well-being, and the amount of sleep and rest you get.
