Temporary Access Changes through 5/18
The intersection of Michael Rd & Bailey Avenue re-opens on Wed. 3/28. Hayes Road will be closed from Goodyear Road to the Tower Lot starting Wed. 3/28 - Fri. 5/18. During this time, Michael Hall will not be accessible from UB's Main Street entrance. To park in the Michael Lot, you must use the Michael Road entrance from Bailey Ave.
5/11/12: Please use caution and be alert: the Michael/Bailey intersection has been temporarily moved approx. 20 feet. Street signs have been moved to guide traffic. Michael Road temporarily runs through the Michael parking lot.
If you are driving to SHS, take Bailey Avenue to Michael Road. Michael Hall is the first building on your right. Please park in the designated loop in front of the building & come in to ask our reception staff for a parking pass. The pass enables you to park in the Michael Farber Lot or Tower Lot for free. You may park anywhere in those lots, but here are some spaces reserved for Student Health patients in the front row of Michael Farber Lot, closest to our building. If those lots are full, you can park at the Main/Bailey Lot.
If you are taking the shuttle from North campus, get off at the Goodyear stop. Cross the street and follow the sidewalk to Michael Hall.
Service Eligibility
Student Health Services offers healthcare services to any registered UB student. Any UB student who is currently registered for classes can be seen in our clinic, regardless of the type of insurance plan he/she holds. This means you DO NOT need to be insured under one of UB's insurance plans to utilize Student Health Services.
The vast majority of our services are paid for by the mandatory health fee, which is part of UB's comprehensive fee. Because we are 100% student funded, we do not provide services to faculty, staff or the general public. Visiting Scholars or OPT students should call Student Health Services for more information on how to gain access to our services.

- Tuesday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Exceptions

Winter, Spring & Summer Breaks
- Monday - Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Schedule Adjustments
- SHS will be closed the second Thursday of every month from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. for staff meetings.

On Call Services
Emergencies: If there is a medical emergency call 645-2222 (if you are on-campus) or 911 (if you are off-campus).
Urgent Medical Concerns: Our on-call service is reserved for medically urgent situations only. If you have a routine health concern like prescription refills, immunization questions, or you want to make an appointment, please call us after 8:30AM at 829-3316. If you feel you need to be urgently seen by a medical provider before we are next open, please contact one of the area urgent care centers: MedFirst at 929-2800, Immediate Care at 204-2273, or Reddy Care at 688-6161. We would advise you to check with your insurance company first regarding coverage before you go to one of these centers. If you need to speak with a person at our after-hours Nurse Line, FONEMED, please call this toll-free number: 1-866-456-2231 for urgent medical advice and direction.
