Medical appointments are available as follows:

(Note: Summer hours are in effect as of 5/12/08. We will resume regular semester hours starting on Monday 9/8/08.)

Summer, Winter and Spring breaks
Monday through Friday 9 am - 5 pm

Fall & Spring Semesters
Monday 9 am - 7 pm
Tuesday through Friday 9 am - 5 pm

Upcoming closures/schedule adjustments include:

• SHS will be closed the second Thursday of every month from 10 am – 11 am for staff meetings.
• Please note, the facility is closed on the weekends and for University holidays:
  • Mon 5/26 (Memorial Day)
  • Thursday 6/26/08 closed 11:30 am – 2 pm (Student Affairs picnic)
  • Friday 7/4/08 (Independence Day)
  • Friday 7/11/08 (Staff development day)
  • Monday 9/1/08 (Labor Day)

On Call Services

Emergencies: If there is a medical emergency call 645-2222 (if you are on-campus) or 911 (if you are off-campus).

Urgent Medical Concerns: Our on-call service is reserved for medically urgent situations only. If you have a routine health concern like prescription refills, immunization questions, or you want to make an appointment, please call us after 8:30AM at 829-3316. If you feel you need to be urgently seen by a medical provider before we are next open, please contact one of the area urgent care centers: MedFirst at 929-2800, Immediate Care at 204-2273, or Reddy Care at 688-6161. We would advise you to check with your insurance company first regarding coverage before you go to one of these centers. If you need to speak with a person at our after-hours Nurse Line, FONEMED, please call this toll-free number: 1-866-456-2231 for urgent medical advice and direction.
